Craniomandibular dysfunction CMD
The anatomy of the chewing apparatus includes the upper jaw (maxilla), lower jaw (mandible), the teeth, the muscles of the masticatory apparatus, and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
Complaints in this area can cause pain in the whole body, such as headaches, TMJ pain, but also complaints in the back or pelvic area.
My practice also includes patients who have complaints about dental or orthodontic care. Patients often suffer from headaches, neck pain and difficulty concentrating.
Even children who are facing the change of teeth, can be treated with osteopathy.
